Artist in Focus – Pauline Preston

Pauline is a local artist who has been painting for around 12 years since retiring from education. She regularly exhibits in Chirk, Ellesmere at Canvas & Clay, and Wrexham at the Drawing Board gallery. Pauline prefers to work in watercolour to great effect, more recently she has been experimenting with watercolour and ink with fantastic results. Castle in Crisis: Looking back

In May 2020 with the country still staying indoors, zoom quizzing and baking banana bread Community managed Whittington Castle lost its income streams and was on the verge of closure.
