Leave a legacy in your Will
Help us keep Whittington Castle open for generations to come by leaving a gift in your Will.
We appreciate that making a Will is a sensitive and highly personal matter, but if you decide to leave a gift to us, we would love to know so we can thank you properly during your lifetime. Informing us of your plans will also give us the opportunity to ensure we fully understand your wishes.
Everyone who chooses to leave a legacy in their Will to the Castle will become a member of the Lady Eleanor Society. In the C14th, Lady Eleanor, who married Fulk VI, created the Castle’s pleasure garden and refurbished the apartments.
It’s very important when making or updating a Will to seek independent professional advice from a solicitor so we have teamed up with specialists Severn Estate Planning in Shrewsbury to offer you a free, no obligations Charity Will writing service.
SEP will waive their fee for writing a basic Will when clients agree to leave a donation to us. We would like to make is clear, however, that when you use this service, you are under no obligation to leave money to WCPT or anybody else. Your Will should represent your wishes.
Call Severn Estate Planning on 01743 387990 or email office@severnestate.co.uk to discuss your Will and to arrange a Charity Will. Find out more at https://www.severnestate.co.uk/
